For cases such as the Covid-19 outbreak, we have prepared supplies of protective equipment for up to two months. If a state of emergency were declared in the Czech Republic, we would release these supplies according to the government’s decision.

Each ministry provided us with the number of protective equipment we should have available to them. This means that the Ministry of the Interior has supplies for firefighters and police in our warehouses, the Ministry of Health for paramedics, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade for critical infrastructures, such as power plant workers.

According to the government decision, we would, therefore, distribute these supplies during the emergency.

Our warehouses keep, for example, masks, the FFP2 and FFP3 class respirators, filters for half masks of the FFP3 class, medical gloves, protective shields and goggles, swab sets, rapid tests, protective suits, medical caps and shoe covers.

We have already tested the protective equipment distribution during the Covid- 19 outbreak in the spring of 2020. At that time, we were in charge of supplying university hospitals all over the country. We delivered a total of 67 million pieces of protective equipment. The Army of the Czech Republic assisted us with the distribution.
