We help during floods.
Floods are the opposite of extreme drought. We are ready for them too. We have flood barriers, large-capacity pumps, power generators, emergency lighting and other equipment. And when the water recedes, we send dryers to the affected municipalities.
High water can also destroy bridges and cut off part of the city. We also have special equipment for such situations. We will simply send an easy to assemble temporary bridge there.
Now we also have new footbridges, which have been missing in the Czech reserves so far.
If all the bridges we had lent to municipalities and cities since the floods in 1998 were arranged in a single line, a bridge about 3 km long could be built from them.
